i do. if you don't, do you know what an antagonym is?
i do. if you don't, i'll tell you: a contronym, sometimes referred to as an atagonym, is a word which is it's own antonym.
that means a word that means something, but also means the exact opposite. it must be of the same spelling, as well.
a good example of a contronym is "oversight." oversight of something entails paying close attention, but an oversight is also not paying enough attention. similarly, a garnish is an addition to something, such as "a salad garnish," but it can also mean subtraction from something, such as "we'll garnish his wages."
now, don't you feel slightly more elite and superior? if so, remember my contribution to this feeling, and also remember that you are still inferior to me.

i really wish this show had sold out, because these guys deserve it.
anyway, connie (minowa) and scott (west, both members of the band) set up canvasses on the back of the stage and painted for the duration of the cult's 75 minute set. when the set was over, the paintings were both put up for auction and sold at the end of the night.

well, at least that was exciting. electric six was fun, funny and eye-opening. well, that last one might not be true, but i'm getting paid by the word here, so cut me some slack.
i can't wait for this recess to end. no one is left in the office and it's a very depressing place without 50 or so smiles every morning. even though the office is only open to 5 during recess (as opposed to 6 when we're in session), my days seem insufferably longer.
